Abandoned and deteriorating, the four contiguous homes sitting on Salem Avenue were desperately needing love and care. We recognize that blight in our communities is not only bad for neighbors, it detracts value from our larger community, York County.

Rehabilitating dilapidated properties is no easy undertaking. The homes had been condemned and sitting vacant for almost a decade. Our goal is to restore the homes and provide healthier spaces and fair prices for individuals and families earning less than 30% of the neighborhood’s median income.
